Word also has it that aside from her current Broadway/Jazz show Carol has also been putting together a show which will highlight the careers of some of the great pop divas of all time. It's likely we can expect to hear songs made famous by international icons such as Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, Helen Shapiro, Sandie Shaw, Lesley Gore and Cilla Black. There could even be some from a few Australian greats such as Lynne Randall, Liv Maessen, Dinah Lee, Maria Dallas, Cheryl Gray, Marcia Hines, Bev Harrell and Colleen Hewett. No matter what, this is going to be a show not to be missed.

Of course Carol Lloyd really wouldn't be Carol Lloyd if she couldn't let loose with a little rock 'n' roll from time to time, and plans are underway to put together a package of songs that are guaranteed to satisfy all those who have loved everything she's done right from the early Railroad Gin and Carol Lloyd Band days through to some of the newer original songs that the reformed Railroad Gin were serving up. But will we ever get to see the incredibly fabulous title track of her 'Take It Or Leave It' solo album performed live on stage? We'll just have to wait and see...
